Seeds of Recovery along the Gulf Coast
In Louisiana and elsewhere along the Gulf of Mexico, there are signs of recovery. Fishing areas are reopening. Protective boom is being removed. Beach areas are open for business. But efforts to deal with the impact of the oil spill are far from over, says Mike Utsler, Chief Operating Officer of BP's Gulf Coast Restoration Organization. BP Provides $15 Million to Fund Behavioral Health Support Across Louisiana
BP is providing $15 million to the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals to fund behavioral health support and outreach programs in Louisiana. This funding is part of a total $52 million that was give to federal and state health organizations across the state. Click here for more details.
